Domestic violence shelters offer temporary help and shelter for women and children victims of domestic violence in the United States.

Along with Shower, Food and Clothing, other services that can be offered are: Self-Sufficiency Program with Financial Assistance, Support Groups, Restraining Orders, Transitional Housing, Life Skills, Job Training, Substance Abuse Treatment, Case Management, Health Care, Child Care, Headstart Program, GED Preparation, Adult Education and in some cases Legal Help and Assistance.
