To qualify, residents must have incomes that are under 125% of the federal poverty level and be a Utah resident and a US citizen or eligible alien (except in domestic violence cases.)

CASE TYPES: divorce proceeding where violence or abuse are a factor, guardianship proceeding, child custody, Social Security Disability benefits, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), Medicaid, Medicare, Utah Medical Assistance Program (UMAP), Living Wills, Social Security retirement benefits, Home foreclosure, Evictions and lock-outs, Unemployment compensation, Bankruptcy.

Free legal aid Utah programs cannot assist residents in criminal matters.
